تم اختيار الصور من أكبر مسابقات التصوير خلال الاثني عشر شهرا الماضية، بما في ذلك التصوير الجوي والمجهري.
وقد كانت جوائز Pano واحدة من أكثر المسابقات إثارة للإعجاب، كما أن مسابقة Nikon Small World Photo تقدم مجموعة رائعة من الصور، وهي واحدة من أقدم المسابقات المصورة في العالم والتي تستمر منذ 50 عاما تقريبا.
وقد كشفت جوائز سوني العالمية للتصوير الفوتوغرافي عن بعض الفائزين المذهلين، تم اختيارهم من 320.000 مشاركة، بينما حازت جوائز Siena International Photo Awards، في عامها الخامس فقط، على مكانتها كمسابقة أولية للصور مع مجموعة رائعة حقا من الاختيارات الفائزة.
